The NORTHERN Arizona Bowlerettes finished their 2025-2026 season in grand style! They “PACKED THE PLAZA” which means they gathered at the center they call home: Plaza Bowl in Prescott. The owner Brian Miller continues to update his center keeping it very much with the retro style it’s known for! The NAZB Officers & Directors welcomed 70 ladies on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, on a beautiful summer day in Prescott! Doesn’t get any better than that! We did have a 9-pin No-Tap Tournament, which the ladies always enjoy! We wished the following ladies a very Happy August Birthday! These birthday babies included: Kim Saterbak (8/1), Carol Taylor (8/4), Miki Kane (8/11), Laura Byers (8/18), Naomi Bronson (8/18), Ronnie Graves (8/21), Trudie Beestrum (8/22), LaDonna Woodworth (8/22), Linda Hughes (8/24), & Donna Villagran (8/25). We do hope your birthday is/was a super special day! Time to celebrate our tournament winners of our August 2026 tournament! We have 3 Divisions, so we have 3 delighted winners to announce! In Division #1 (ladies with averages up to & including 125), Terri Whitfield (827) was the top bowler! Congrats to Terri! In Division #2 (ladies with averages of 126 up to & including 144), Mary Robinson (850) was the leader of her group! Way to go Mary! She was followed by Linda Wiggen (843), Brenda Lee (826), Bobbi Bowerman (823), Anne Marie Vernon (795), Monika Menser (791) & Patty Willis (780). Grand bowling ladies! In Division #3 (ladies with averages of 145 & above), Kim Rybkowski (894) was the champion! Great bowling Kim! When we bowl 9-Pin No-Tap, we hand out 300 pins (the type you wear) to a bowler who rolls a No-Tap 300. Congratulations to Brenda Peaslee who did just that! Way to go Brenda! On to more winners! Trudie Beestrum was thrilled to win a free entry to our next tournament! This is the one tournament when the ladies can’t request who they bowl with - the lane assignments are done randomly. It’s a great chance to socialize with different members of our group!
